Former College Football Athlete now School Assembly Speaker

Joel Penton former College Football athlete now school assembly speaker is open and available to reach out and talk with any high school assembly throughout the continental United States. Joel Penton is one of the nation’s leading youth motivational speakers, offering a fresh approach to presenting at a high school assembly than numerous other motivational speakers.

Joel Penton connects with the high school aged youth focusing on positive results built upon a foundation of good decisions. He avoids using stories or experiences that have developed from negative consequences to his decisions made through poor or unwise decisions. In this approach and method he is able to leave strong messages geared at taking personal accountability while not fostering an attitude or belief structure that anyone can overcome and prosper from poor choices. This is one of the primary differences in Joel Penton’s high school assembly motivational talks, versus that of other youth motivational speakers.

Joel Penton is a graduate from Ohio State University where he played for the Buckeyes over the course of five years. During Joel’s tenure with the Buckeyes, he was a member of three Big Ten championship teams, a member of the National Championship team, and a four time Academic All-Big Ten selection. Joel is also the recipient of the prestigious Wuerffel Trophy, which has been called the Humanitarian Heisman. The Wuerffel Trophy is a nationally acclaimed award given to one college football player in the country which best exemplifies continuous community service with athletic and academic achievement. It is a both an honor and prestige to even be nominated, let alone awarded, the Wuerffel Trophy.

Joel has also written and published a motivational book entitled “Stand Your Ground” which he sends to anyone that is interested in having Joel speak before a high school assembly. The book covers many topics discussed in his presentation, albeit in a different, less direct fashion. The book is an excellent indicator of whether or not Joel is a good choice for your school or curriculum. Currently Joel Penton is open to meet with any high school assembly. In the near future he will have events mostly throughout the Midwest, but will be making his way to Northern Washington in mid-October after visiting eastern Texas.

Stand your ground.  Don't back down.

What does it mean to stand your ground? People today are
constantly making commitments and breaking them.  Look at
divorce rates, credit card debts, New Years's resolutions... and
the list of unfulfilled promises goes on.  It it even possible to
keep our commitments?

Stand your ground,  Don't back down.

Joel Penton says, "Yes it is possible" - he knows from
experience.  Like most of your students, Joel was put into
situations in middle school and high school where it would
have been easy to compromise and break his commitments.
However, he chose to rise above the pressure and keep the
committments he made in school, in football, and in life.

Stand your ground.  Don't back down.

Joe will say that it takes character, it takes will, and the road
will be hard.  But his personal experience is proof that ordinary
people can accomplish great things by simply following through
with the commitments they have made.  Your students will be
inspired and reminded of the importance of not just making
committments, but also keep those commitments.

Don't back down.  Stand your ground.
