How to Become an Inspiring High School Assembly Speaker Who Presents Great Assembly Ideas

Anyone can stand in front of a crowd and give the people a piece of his mind, but it takes a special set of skills, knowledge, experience, and a sense of inspiring change in others to become a good motivational speaker. Speakers in youth assemblies carry a great responsibility of changing young lives. This is why it is important to train yourself to become not only a good speaker but also a responsible one, knowing that you can inspire real and lasting change in people’s lives.

When speaking to youth assemblies, it is important to remember that each set of audience is not the same and each has different needs. To become a successful and effective motivational speaker, it is crucial that you learn how to adjust to your audience, have a sense of responsibility, learn how to make your presentation relevant and entertaining, and show passion in what you do.

Knowing the type of event you will be speaking in is important, as well as the type of audience you are going to meet. This will help you adjust the way you communicate and interact with your audience, especially when dealing with young children. Being comic, animated, and entertaining is also important, more so when your audience has a very short attention span. Being engaging is an important quality that you should develop if you want to experience the same success as the most reputable motivational speakers for the youth. Making your presentation more interactive is also important, as well as showing expertise in what you are saying. Sincerity and passion also play a huge part in being an effective motivational speaker. Showing passion in what you do as well as in inspiring change in others is one of the most important things you should learn to do if you want to be an inspirational, motivational speaker.

Stand your ground.  Don't back down.

What does it mean to stand your ground? People today are
constantly making commitments and breaking them.  Look at
divorce rates, credit card debts, New Years's resolutions... and
the list of unfulfilled promises goes on.  It it even possible to
keep our commitments?

Stand your ground,  Don't back down.

Joel Penton says, "Yes it is possible" - he knows from
experience.  Like most of your students, Joel was put into
situations in middle school and high school where it would
have been easy to compromise and break his commitments.
However, he chose to rise above the pressure and keep the
committments he made in school, in football, and in life.

Stand your ground.  Don't back down.

Joe will say that it takes character, it takes will, and the road
will be hard.  But his personal experience is proof that ordinary
people can accomplish great things by simply following through
with the commitments they have made.  Your students will be
inspired and reminded of the importance of not just making
committments, but also keep those commitments.

Don't back down.  Stand your ground.
