What Can Be Learned From Educational, Motivational Speakers?

Motivational speakers can be powerful mediums in encouraging, inspiring, and delivering information to students, especially teens who are going through a difficult transition from childhood to adulthood. The right motivational speaker is someone who can influence and motivate through words that may reveal truths or make students realize new aspects about life, their future, reaching their goals, and their relationships.

Choosing the right speaker for the main topic or purpose of the assembly is crucial to ensure that the message is delivered well. Once you have identified the issue or topic that needs to be addressed in the assembly, you can choose a speaker who has the experience and a valuable lesson to share about the subject matter. Some of the issues that motivational speakers for teenage students address include peer pressure, bullying, drinking, self-image, drugs, and smoking, but they can also discuss non-controversial issues such as college life, choosing the right course, what to do after high school, and motivation to succeed.

It’s important to find someone who can strike a balance between delivering a clear message and entertaining. A motivational speaker must have a sense of humor and be creative, but the message should never get lost. The speaker must ensure that the students truly grasp and remember the message.

Some educational, motivational speakers may require fees. Higher fees usually mean better speakers who can deliver high-quality presentations, but there are also experienced and very good motivational speakers who won’t ask for much. If you want to hire a speaker, but are not sure if you can afford him/her, ask anyway. Some motivational speakers have flexible rates some are even open to charities.

Have you witnessed the motivational speaker with an actual audience before? If not, look for online footage so you can watch, observe, and determine if the speaker’s style is suitable for your requirements.

Stand your ground.  Don't back down.

What does it mean to stand your ground? People today are
constantly making commitments and breaking them.  Look at
divorce rates, credit card debts, New Years's resolutions... and
the list of unfulfilled promises goes on.  It it even possible to
keep our commitments?

Stand your ground,  Don't back down.

Joel Penton says, "Yes it is possible" - he knows from
experience.  Like most of your students, Joel was put into
situations in middle school and high school where it would
have been easy to compromise and break his commitments.
However, he chose to rise above the pressure and keep the
committments he made in school, in football, and in life.

Stand your ground.  Don't back down.

Joe will say that it takes character, it takes will, and the road
will be hard.  But his personal experience is proof that ordinary
people can accomplish great things by simply following through
with the commitments they have made.  Your students will be
inspired and reminded of the importance of not just making
committments, but also keep those commitments.

Don't back down.  Stand your ground.
